Frucom establish new supplier relationship with factory in Thailand

Here at Frucom, we have been working hard on establishing a new supplier relationship with a factory based in Thailand, investing a significant amount of time and money into the project. This new collaboration will allow us to supply new and existing products from Thailand, but at even more competitive pricing.

Certifications

The factory itself, located in the suburbs of Bangkok, holds numerous certifications, including: FSSC 2200 (equivalent to BRC), HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, Halal and Kosher. In addition to the factory, the farms are also Organic certified and are currently working towards achieving Global GAP. With these certifications in place, we can offer a variety of both Organic and Conventional Thai products.

Frucom directors, Rob Dukes and Nick Daly, have visited the factory and farms in person on a number of occasions. During their visits we were able to carry out audits and oversee production, working closely with the respective teams to ensure that they are following all the correct processes and protocols.

Sustainability

As the industry and the world continue to become more socially responsible and sustainable, we are pleased to say that the supplier also runs a Thai Charitable Foundation. The foundation was set up to help their farmers work towards converting from farming conventional products to Organic.

Thanks to the foundation, we will be able to add a number of new Organic products to our ever growing portfolio in the coming years.
