The product shall be prepared from fresh mature ginger. Free from all toxic residues and taints.
Texture & Particle Size
Product is Peeled and cut to a width of 3-4mm and length of 1-4cm. Width: 5% over/undersize +/-1.0mm. Length: 5% over/undersize allowance.
Storage & Shelf life
Store at -18°C. or below, ideal storage should be at -20°C. Avoid storage with strongly flavoured materials, or with materials that absorb flavours readily. Shelf Life at these temperatures is 24 months. Minimum 6 months on delivery.
Packaging
Inner – Blue tint food grade bag, sealed.
Outer – Brown food grade box, printed with supplier information. Self-adhesive blue tape closure.
