IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) whole blueberries are blueberries that are frozen individually shortly after harvesting to lock in their natural flavour, colour and nutritional value. Because each berry remains separate, they are easy to portion and can be used directly from frozen in food manufacturing and commercial kitchens.

IQF whole blueberries offer several advantages over fresh blueberries, including:

  • Longer shelf life
  • Available all year round
  • Less food waste
  • Easy portion control
  • Consistent quality and size
  • No washing or preparation required
  • Reliable supply for food manufacturing
  • Convenient storage and handling

These benefits make IQF blueberries an ideal ingredient for manufacturers, bakeries and commercial kitchens looking for consistent quality and production efficiency

IQF stands for Individually Quick Frozen. This freezing process rapidly freezes each blueberry separately, preventing the fruit from sticking together. The result is a free-flowing product that's ideal for accurate portioning, reduced waste and consistent production.

Food manufacturers choose IQF blueberries because they provide consistent quality, minimise waste, reduce labour costs and are available throughout the year. They also eliminate the challenges of seasonal availability associated with fresh fruit, making production planning much easier.
