Organoleptic
Product will have the strong flavour typical for chilli, red to dark red colour, typical of fresh chilli, free from off odours and flavours.
Scoville units: 500 – 6,000
Texture & Particle Size
Free from foreign matter. Product is pureed to particle size 1mm (with visible seeds) and frozen into tablet form. Weight per tablet; 15-22g.
Storage & Shelf life
Store at –18°C. or below, ideal storage should be at –20°C. Avoid storage with strongly flavoured materials, or with materials that absorb flavours readily. Shelf Life at these temperatures is 24 months. Minimum 6 months on delivery.
Inner – Blue tint food grade bag, sealed.
Outer – Brown food grade box, printed with supplier information. Self-adhesive blue tape closure.
