One of Europe’s leading suppliers of exotic frozen produce
Frucom's Story
We pride ourselves on quality, service and old fashioned values.
Frucom began operations officially in the late 1990s, importing frozen onions and cauliflower from Poland, along with peppers from Spain. In the early 2000s, the company began supplying frozen ginger and garlic. Frucom’s customers soon began requesting chillies and a diverse range of Thai goods, sparking exponential growth.
Their annual container count increased from 2 containers to 70 to 80 containers of chillies, marking a significant expansion. Presently, Frucom operates from cold stores in Grimsby, a pivotal location within the UK’s fishing and frozen food industry, owing to its robust logistics infrastructure.
Frucom accommodates over 1000 pallets of frozen goods and imports around 500 x 40ft containers annually, distributing to various ports across the UK, where shipments are cleared and delivered to customers.
Frucom is committed to the highest standards of food quality and safety. With safety as a paramount concern, Frucom’s team meticulously manages regulatory compliance, including pesticide control, microbiological safety, and inspections of suppliers, farms, and production facilities, to ensure they uphold BRC standards.
Frucom’s product range nowadays spans over 90 products almost from every continent across the globe.
